An Edenlife benefit – lock & leave lifestyle

August 20, 2024

There are many benefits of living an in Edenlife community, one of which is the lock & leave lifestyle.

Setting off, on either a short or extended break, has never been less worrisome for residents of our communities.

Worrying about the security of your home while you’re away, is a valid and common concern in residential land.  It can be difficult to know all your neighbours when you may be in different stages of life with different interests and social habits.  There may be no family or friends located close enough to pop by regularly to keep an eye on your home.  There is likely to be general traffic and people you don’t know moving in/out/about the street constantly.

It’s the opposite in an Edenlife community.  You’ll be living amongst a group of like-minded people in a similar stage of life with similar interests and social habits.  You’ll get to know all your neighbours (and not just the ones that directly border your home), through the many social activities and events, or just by taking a stroll through the parks and garden trails where you’ll come across other residents enjoying the same thing.  There are no rental homes at Edenlife, so the only new people will be those who have purchased a home to enjoy the same lifestyle as you. The eyes of the community are always open and looking out for each other.

Another benefit is that with your front garden being reticulated and maintained by the community gardening team, there will be no overgrown or dying/dead plants to come home to.

The camaraderie and spirit within our communities sees neighbours looking out for neighbours and their homes when they are away, so instead of worrying, they can fully enjoy every single moment of their holiday instead.

John & Carmel (below) are Edenlife Australind residents and really enjoy travelling, recently setting off on a 12-month holiday.  They were excited about their trip and relaxed in knowing that their home (and garden) will be the same upon their return as when they left.
