What led you to choose Edenlife as your home?
Since September 2023, my husband and I have had the privilege of calling Edenlife Australind home, moving into our beautiful new house in January 2024. How lucky we feel to have discovered such a wonderful, brand‑new village — one that offers everything we could wish for as we enjoy our years ahead in peace and harmony.
In 2019, we sold our home and most of our belongings in Victoria and set off on a life of adventure, travelling the country with our caravan. We explored stunning landscapes, visited remarkable towns, and embraced the freedom of life on the road. Then, at Christmas in 2022, we found ourselves in Bunbury… and something shifted. We fell in love — with the beaches, the surrounds, the Bunbury Farmers Market, and the whole Southwest region of WA. We both had the same light‑bulb moment: This is where we want to settle.
A simple Google search led us to Edenlife Australind Over‑50s Lifestyle Village — and the rest, as they say, is history.
From the very first moment, we were blown away by the professionalism of Linda Sunderland, our sales manager extraordinaire. Her attention to detail is impeccable. Her ability to anticipate things we hadn’t even thought of – amazing. Linda ensured even the smallest, easily overlooked touches were handled perfectly.
Since moving in, the admin team led by Samantha Bell has been nothing short of delightful. No matter how busy things get, Kelli at Reception — and Sam herself — always greet us with warmth, patience, and a smile that could brighten even the gloomiest Monday. They work together like a well-oiled machine, keeping us (residents) informed, supported, and feeling like valued members of the community. Truly, this organisation knows how to pick their people!
We adore our brand‑new forever home and the minimalist lifestyle it offers. Our small garden and alfresco area are perfectly sized, easy to maintain, and bring us so much joy. The beautifully maintained facilities throughout the village offer something for everyone.
But our favourite part of living here is the sense of community. We still can’t quite believe how fortunate we are to be surrounded by caring, like‑minded neighbours who, in such a short time, have become valued and dear friends. Edenlife has given us not just a home, but a place where we feel we truly belong.
