What inspired you to downsize?
2021 was Colin’s annus horribilis, with a serious heart attack followed some months after with an initially devastating stroke. It made us both realise that we weren’t bulletproof anymore and that our current house and half acre property was getting too much. We wanted to unshackle ourselves from that burden and start making time on our hands to enjoy life.
How did you learn about Edenlife?
Hours of searching the internet and good time spent on their excellent website.
What was your first impression of Edenlife?
Simply WOW! The huge brick clubhouse was amazing, the grounds immaculate and well ordered and the existing residents we met were so warm and immediately engaging.
Why did you decide on Edenlife?
After living in and renovating a 1960’s house for 17 years, we wanted something that was brand new and finished, inside and out. Plus we had seen and done everything in our old location, so that Edenlife was in Australind surrounded by so many new opportunities really appealed to us. On top of that was the low financial entry commitment until we sold our house. It was a winning combination.
What are you enjoying about living in an Edenlife Community?
Great location, magnificent clubhouse, friendly and helpful administrative staff, like-minded positive fellow residents. A very social atmosphere mixed with a lot of laughs and banter.
